About Bridgeville
The small town of Bridgeville is located in northern California approximately 25 miles east of the city of Fortuna. To get here, take state highway 36 east from the us 101 exit. Upon leaving Hydesville you will pass through giant groves of redwoods and follow the scenic Van Duzen river until you reach your destination.

Residents
The town of Bridgeville is much more than the few houses and businesses on the first half mile of Kneeland rd. The town as dictated by the Postal Service's zip code boundary system actually includes about 600 residents and a dozen or so small businesses.
Present and Future
In 2006 Daniel La Paille, an entertainment talent manager bought the town of Bridgeville and drew up plans to help restore it to it's former glory. Daniel planned to build several businesses, houses and even a sheriff's substation in the town, something that would have positively affected the entire area. In November Daniel passed away while in the midst of working feverishly to implement his plans. The town of Bridgeville is currently for sale and has shown little change since the passing of it's owner. Daniel will be greatly missed.
